Key Outcomes

TNBES is a trusted strategic partner to DN, delivering Smart Meter projects since 2018, supporting nationwide deployment, bridging gaps, empowering contractors, and successfully installing 4.9 million smart meters.
TNBES supports Time of Use (TOU) scheme implementation across Peninsular Malaysia by enabling smart meter upgrades, helping consumers access lower off-peak tariffs, and providing additional installation teams, including skilled technicians, to ensure rollout efficiency.
TNBES extends beyond smart meter installation by supporting revisited and appointment-based installations, while also delivering installation notices, strengthening service coverage under the existing LOT 1 contract.
TNBES commits to increasing installation capacity to at least 50 teams by mid FY2026, supporting Regulatory Period (RP4) targets. With Lot 1 extension, AMI can boost service orders, improving productivity and budget utilization.
